Have you noticed that everything in the supermarket now has a high-protein version? Protein bread, protein chips, protein water, even protein cookies, it feels like protein is everywhere.
Protein is essential for health, especially for muscle, but that doesn’t mean every food we eat needs to maximise protein. In fact, most people following a Western diet already get enough protein without trying.

The problem with adding protein to snacks like chips, cookies, and cakes
How much protein most people actually need
Why focusing only on protein can make us miss out on fibre, fruits, veggies, and micronutrients

My name is Kamini. I have a Bachelor of Pharmacy with First Class Honours from Curtin University and I’m currently working as a registered pharmacist while completing my Master of Human Nutrition.
