DOUBLE UP | Wild Tennessee Creek Fishing
Hit the water early and worked my way upstream through one of my favorite Tennessee creeks. The bass were biting despite a big overnight weather shift, and the highlight of the day was a double hookup—two smallmouth bass on one Whopper Plopper. It was pure chaos and easily one of the coolest moments I’ve had on the water. Along the way I caught rock bass, a few smallies, ran into a snake, and spotted a ton of baitfish in this incredible creek system. These are the kind of days that make all the early mornings and long hikes worth it.
