Just a few miles northwest of Bulverde, Texas, this state park includes 4 miles of Guadalupe River frontage, great shady & spacious campsites, and miles of park trails to explore. The River Overlook and Barred Owl trails provide the best cliff-edge views of the river, while the Bald Cypress trail meanders along the tranquil riverfront. We visited in winter, so too cold to swim, float, or fish, but imagine it would be a blast in warmer months!
