In this film, I return to some locations seen in a much earlier film as I explore Staunton in the Forest of Dean and follow a walk in the area that visits several stones.

Although it was another great day when I filmed this, towards its end I slipped and hurt my left arm, grazing it quite badly. It looked worse than it actually was to be fair, but it did feel quite sore for a day or two afterwards. As a result, I am expecting everyone to thoroughly enjoy this film after what I went through during the making of it! 🤣 Seriously through, it was still a lovely film to make.

Filmed in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean in the counties of Gloucestershire and Monmouthshire. Locations include Staunton, the Long Stone, Marian’s Inclosure, the Wysis Way, Lady Park Wood, Near Hearkening Rock, the Suck Stone and the Buckstone. This is part of the series of films shot in 2018 celebrating 25 years of “The Solitary Rambler”.
