Simple Indian Diet Plan for Quick Weight Loss
✅ Key Principles:
High protein, moderate carbs, low sugar
Use whole foods, no packaged junk
Drink 2.5–3L water daily
Maintain a calorie deficit (but don’t starve)
🌅 Early Morning (6:30 – 7:30 AM)
1 glass warm water with lemon or soaked fenugreek seeds
Optional: 5 soaked almonds or 2 walnuts
🍵 Breakfast (8:00 – 9:00 AM)
Choose one:
2 boiled eggs + 1 multigrain toast + green tea
1 bowl vegetable upma / poha (little oil, lots of veggies)
Moong dal chilla (2) + mint chutney
Oats porridge + chia seeds + a few berries/banana slices
Pro tip: Add protein (e.g., curd, paneer, egg) to every breakfast
🍎 Mid-Morning Snack (11:00 AM)
1 seasonal fruit (apple, papaya, orange, or guava)
OR coconut water / buttermilk
🍛 Lunch (1:00 – 2:00 PM)
1–2 multigrain rotis
1 bowl dal/chana/rajma or grilled chicken/fish
1 bowl sabzi (low oil)
Salad (cucumber, tomato, carrots)
Optional: ½ cup brown rice or quinoa
☕ Evening Snack (4:30 – 5:30 PM)
Choose one:
Roasted chana + green tea
Makhana (dry roasted)
Boiled egg or sprouts chaat
1 small banana + peanut butter (if hungry before workout)
🥘 Dinner (7:00 – 8:00 PM)
Grilled paneer/tofu or sautéed veggies or clear soup
OR 1-2 rotis + light sabzi
Keep it low carb, high protein
Avoid rice or heavy dals at night
🌙 Optional Post-Dinner (if hungry)
Warm turmeric milk (low-fat)
O 1 tsp soaked chia seeds in water
