Back in July 2020, my brother of www.thetrekplanner.com introduce my family and I to these incredible petroglyphs, found on private land, just outside of Vernal, Utah.
There are MANY petroglyphs to see! It is well worth your time. In fact, we made a day-trip out of it from Salt Lake City and it was perfect. While Vernal is a high-elevation desert, we went in July and it was still very warm. Not 105 degree heat, but mid 90s.
Overall, it was a perfect day. Afterwards, my wife and I explored a non-technical slot-canyon called the "Devil's Crack" in nearby Naples, Utah. Those two adventures made for a great day.
