The Night Sky Is Changing | New Astrophotography Opportunities

Astrophotography can be done whole year round. While nearing the end of summer, the milky way core is dropping below the horizon. This gives us the opportunity to capture other beautiful regions of our own galaxy, like the great rift. In this nightscape photography adventure we head out into the purple blooming heather fields for a night out under the stars. I also talk a bit about motivation, or lack thereof, to go outside and what to do about it.
I use my astro modified Nikon Z6 camera combined with the Nikon 20mm f/1.8, riding the Move Shoot Move Nomad Star Tracker. Timelapses were done with Nikon Z6II and Nikon Z 50mm f/1.8. For video I use the Sony ZV-E1 combined with the Sony 20mm f/1.8 G lens.
