Join us for our first season living aboard, Liahona, a 46 foot monohull in Mexican waters.
In Episode 16, we set sail on a 24-hour passage down the Pacific coast of Mexico—from Banderas Bay to the lush anchorage of Tenacatita. But first, we have to navigate one of the most notorious headlands in the region: Cabo Corrientes.
Known for its unpredictable winds and rough seas, Cabo Corrientes demands respect. We plan our weather window carefully, time the currents, and make our move south—aiming for a smooth, uneventful ride (fingers crossed).
Along the way: night sailing, shifting winds, multiple sail changes and stunning coastal views as we enter new cruising territory.
This leg marks a big step south in our sailing journey—join us on for the ride!
