Whether it's an evening snack, kids lunch box, or a quick dinner, these street style veg noodles are perfect for every occasion. Ready in just 10 minutes, it's a must try recipe for all noodle lovers.
PREPARATION TIME - 5 MINUTES
COOKING TIME - 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS :
1) Noodles - 150 gm (hakka/plain)
2) Onion (sliced) - 2 medium
3) Capsicum (sliced) - 1 medium
4) Carrot (sliced) - 1 medium
5) Beetroot (sliced) - 1 small
6) Cabbage (cut in square) - 1 cup
7) Green Chillies (sliced) - 2
8) Water for boiling noodles
9) Salt - 1 tablespoon
10) Oil - 2 tablespoon (for boiling noodles) + 1/4 cup (for stair frying)
11) Ajinomoto (optional) - A pinch
12) Soya sauce - 1 tablespoon
13) Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
14) Green chilli sauce - 1 tbsp
15) Vinegar - 2 tbsp
16) Black pepper powder - 1 tbsp
17) Red chilli powder - 1/2 tbsp
18) Coriander leaves (chopped) - 2 tbsp
19) Hakka noodle masala - 2 tbsp
COOKING METHOD -
1) Boil noodles - Boil noodles with salt and a little oil. Cook only 80 % . Do not over cook.
2) Prepare veggies - Slice onion, capsicum, carrot, beetroot, green chilli and cabbage into thin strips. The thinner, the better.
3) Stair fry - Heat oil, add garlic and veggies. Stair fry on high flame for 2 minutes.
4) Add sauces - Add sauces, salt, pepper, vinegar, and mix it well.
5) Mix noodles - Now add boiled noodles, gently toss with veggies and sauces.
6) Garnish and serve - Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
