Dr. Shahid Hussain is PhD in Mass Communication and is serving as Assistant Professor at Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU), situated in Islamabad, Pakistan. He is carrying more than 11 years of teaching and research experience at the University level. He has published dozens of research papers/articles in National and International Research Journals of repute.

Dr. Shahid has produced books on Mass Communication as well as contributed chapters. He is also attached with many national universities as member of committees of courses and as subject expert. He also managed Public Relations of national organizations as well as consults many organizations in media matters. He has also served as Editor of Newsletters and Research Journals. He has achieved a number of awards and honors during his professional career. He also contributes articles to newspapers especially on development and social issues.
