Yemen’s Houthi leader Abdul Malik al-Houthi has issued fresh threats against the United States and Israel, accusing both of orchestrating violence during Iran’s protests through “criminal gangs.” As fears of a wider Iran war grow, the Iran-backed group claims confrontation with Washington and Tel Aviv is now inevitable, even as Israel faces mounting pressure from continued Houthi attacks disrupting its Red Sea port of Eilat.
