Experience a full winter day out in the heart of the Scottish Highlands as we hike through the iconic Coire an t‑Sneachda and push on to the summit of Cairn Gorm. With snow-covered ridges, icy winds, and breath taking alpine views, this route showcases some of the best winter scenery in the Cairngorms National Park.
We set off from the Cairngorm Ski Centre, travel into the dramatic corrie of Coire an t‑Sneachda, and carefully ascend to the summit of Cairn Gorm (1,245 m). Expect classic Scottish winter conditions—wind-packed snow, icy slopes, and stunning light over the plateau.
