Tips for Dealing with Grinder Jams:

Initial Seasoning: Minor jamming may occur initially with a new declumper.
Frequent burr spinning: ("bellowing") during the early stages can help season the declumper and prevent future issues.
Coarse Grinding and Self-Cleaning: If a jam occurs, adjust the grind setting to 35 (coarser) and allow the burrs to spin freely. As you gradually adjust the setting finer, the clog should typically clear itself.
Chute Cleaning: Regular cleaning of the chute with a pin brush every 3-4 grinds is recommended for optimal maintenance. However, this is not always essential and may vary depending on factors like bean type, humidity, and grinding frequency.
Water Spray: A light spray of water can sometimes help dislodge minor clogs.
Grind Size Limitations: To minimize the risk of chute jamming, avoid grinding more than 20-30 grams of coffee without "bellowing" the burrs.
