Mountain Bike Trail POV

We had limited time on our way to Washougal Motocross national, but as we do, we went riding on the way down there. Stuie, Brendon and I stopped in at the Yacult Burn State Forest, just outside of Vancouver, WA.

I did some research on highly rated trails in the lower WA area and this was the one that came back, boy did it not disappoint.

It's fast, technical, rough and has a jump section that could rival any in the world for ultimate fun factor. Kinda scary to commit to jumping everything blind though haha.

It starts off with a small climb and then gets into the tech stuff that slowly gets faster and more flowing as we descend down to the bottom. Eventually we end up in a full on jump trail, big jumps too. A lot of fun and I put way too much trust into what was on the other side of those blind take offs 😂

An absolute banger of a trail, we had since found out they recently had a DH race in the mud on that trail which completely makes sense with how beat up the trail was. In places, landing in rocks and holes was a bit sketchy but we made it.

Stu and Brendon were on the gas, was a fun ride and I’d be super keen to hit this trail again some time.
