Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
Setup: Mac Mini M4 Base Model, macOS 26.1 Tahoe, CrossOver 26 Preview 20251106, GPTK 3.0, HDR, D3DMetal, MSync.
Settings: 1080p resolution, Max graphics settings, HDR on.
Performance is pretty much capped at 60 FPS (by design), without screen recording.
This game runs very well with CrossOver, and it looks better with HDR on.
Issue: The game might crash on multi-monitor setups upon entering the graphics settings screen.
Fix: Before entering the graphics settings screen, go into the window mode by pressing Command+Enter, adjust graphics settings, then press Command+Enter again to go into fullscreen.
Notes:
1. The game also runs well with CrossOver 25.1 and GTPK 2.1.
2. D3DMetal and DXMT provide similar performance, but the game failed to launch with the latest version of DXMT (v0.71).
3. HDR support with D3DMetal requires GPTK 3 Beta 5 or later. HDR with D3DMetal looks brighter than HDR with DXMT (everything else being the same).
4. There was already a test of this game on the channel, on an M4 Pro. This is the updated version with Mac Mini M4 and HDR on.
