What is Tre Gun (Guna)? | Rajo, Tamo & Sato | Finding Spiritual Balance

Gurbani (the Guru’s word) tells us that this world is a play of three qualities, but what are these three qualities? In this video, Bhai Baljit Singh explains the nature of said three, Rajo, Tamo, Sato and touches on the fourth state, which we strive to achieve.

How can it benefit me to know about the three qualities? Everything from our thoughts and emotions, to even the food we eat is bound to Rajo, Tamo and Sato. When we spend our life living in an unconscious state, the three qualities become imbalanced within us, causing physical and mental stress. Becoming conscious of the nature of these three qualities will help us to live a more balanced life.
