End Times Prophecy and the Outpouring of the Holy Spirit - Bill Johnson Sermon | Bethel Church

Bill Johnson teaches on end times prophecy and about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the last days. Old Testament prophets declared that God would pour out His Spirit in the last days, and spoke of people streaming to the house of God. Many people see disaster as a sign of the end times, not understanding that God has called believers to walk in the power of the Gospel and see a great harvest of souls come into the Kingdom, specifically in the last days. Many have greater faith in the return of Christ than in the power of the Gospel. Believers of the early church were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in tongues. It was not a one time event, but a continual and repeated filling of the Spirit, so that they would be equipped for every good work. The Bible is clear that the Holy Spirit was not given only to the first church, but that He intended to give the Holy Spirit to every generation to come who would believe in Him. Bill Johnson closes his message with a time of prayer for the baptism of the Holy Spirit.
