In some of Belize’s most challenging neighborhoods, Superintendent of Police Aaron Gamboa is finding ways to make a difference beyond law enforcement. As Officer in Charge of the Special Patrol Unit, he’s sought sponsors to provide school bags for children in communities where gang activity is a reality, particularly in the St. Martins area of Belize City. It’s an effort to give young people a better start and extend a helping hand to families who need it most. Residents who wish to reach out can contact Superintendent Gamboa at 610-0058.
Note: After a few days Gamboa was able to raise close to $100,000 Belize dollars worth of donations of school supplies.
