Build a Strong Tomato Trellis with T Posts and Wire | Step-by-Step Setup
In this video, I’ll show you exactly how I built a strong, long-lasting tomato trellis using two heavy-duty T posts at each end of my 50-foot tomato row and three evenly spaced U posts down the center.
Then I ran wire across the whole row to support tomato plants as they grow. This method works great for keeping plants off the ground, improving air flow, and making harvesting easier.
It’s one of the simplest and most affordable tomato support systems you can build — perfect for backyard gardeners, homesteaders, or anyone growing lots of tomatoes in a row.
