Powsurf Diaries - The Woods hold the Goods - March 6, 2018

You know those days where you get blasted in the face with pow on every turn? This was one of those days. Deep, dry snow and a nice steep pitch will deal you serious duff to the face.
When it's deep and light one of my favorite models is the Powder Slut 140cm. The way this board floats and planes up high on the snow literally makes it feel like you are surfing on clouds. The reverse sidecut on the Powder Slut combined with its rocker profile make for a super floaty ride that is so agile. This board turns more by the displacement of snow, rather than "cutting" as you would on a typical snowboard or standard sidecut. The technique you want to use is a lot like "Front foot surfing" and once you get it, you've got it and our reverse sidecut model powsurfers can bring you feelings you've never experienced on snow.
