[HD] Union Pacific's OCS Visits the CSX Albany Division Plus Other Good Trains 9/22/18

On Saturday, September 22nd, 2018, history would be made as Union Pacific's Business Train would traverse the CSX Chicago Line to Railex in Schenectady, NY. Leading the train would be none other than UP 1943, the honoring armed forces unit. A couple good friends and I drove out to Amsterdam at 12am and spent the following night and day trackside waiting for the train of the day. In that time we were fortunate to snag a few great trains including a very nice K142 which featured a NS Thoroughbred SD70M and rare BNSF executive SD70MAC 4th out. Other notable trains included Q261 with a solo CSX SD70MAC and the freight train of the day, B788 with a full EMD lashup consisting of another CSX SD70MAC leading a SD40-3, ex-SCL SD40-2, and ex-CR GP40-2 4th out.
