On this trip, we're picking up right from the last video and heading even deeper into the Qinling Mountains.
We'll be driving the Taiyang Highway into the Dajian Valley Section, twisting through narrow gorges, rolling streams, and stretches of wild, untouched forest.

After Huangbaiyuan, we keep heading south from the 'Daling Cloud Sea' viewpoint and soon enter the Dajian Valley section of the Taiyang Highway.
This is a classic canyon road deep in the Qinling Mountains, running between Taibai County and Yang County in Shaanxi. The canyon is narrow and winding, with the road clinging to cliff edges—steep mountains on one side, rushing streams on the other, and at its tightest spots, just about 3 meters wide.
Being right on the border of Taibai and Yang Counties, and constantly affected by mountain floods and falling rocks, the road can be pretty rough. It's no wonder Dajian Valley is known as one of the most dangerous stretches in the Qinling—narrow lanes, sharp turns, and frequent rockfalls are all part of the experience.
But despite the challenge, the views are absolutely breathtaking, earning it the nickname 'Qinling's Jiuzhaigou.'
