*HOPPER VIEW* Roy Strom 591: Mack LE McNeilus MA Garbage Truck

After getting the all clear from the driver to let me mount my camera on the truck, I rode along for part of the afternoon in his last neighborhood of the day. For this particular route the driver gets two completely full loads, and usually finishes around 4. I recorded this at the tail end of his route so the hopper was getting really full which was fun to watch. It was also neat because this driver isn’t afraid to use the Pack Assist Panel which is entertaining in itself. Since this was recorded in an unincorporated area there can be a little distance between stops, so I did edit some of the driving out to keep it interesting. With it being about 90° outside my camera decided not to record in full HD which was a little annoying, although I think the final product came out well. I do have a third part of footage from this day, but I plan on saving that for a little while because unfortunately, this truck is set to be either sold or scrapped within the next few weeks. With that being said, I hope you all enjoy another installment of one of the infamous Roy Strom MAs!
