In this 4K journey through the Rocky Mountain National Park and beyond, I'm taking you to the highest roads, peaks, and postcard picture mountain towns in North America. From the heights of Trail Ridge Road in the park (the highest continuous paved road in North America), to the jaw-dropping vistas of Mount Blue Sky, home to the highest paved road in North America, this adventure offers more than just a scenic tour—it's a journey through high altitude peaks, and awe-inspiring landscapes. We also visit the highest visitor center in the National Parks system and drive through Leadville, Colorado which is the highest incorporated town in North America. Do I like themes? Yes I do.

Trail Ridge Road: Buckle up as we explore the 48-mile scenic byway that soars to an elevation of over 12,000 feet! This road isn't just a driving adventure—it's a way to experience the park's alpine tundra, offering expansive views that will take your breath away. I filmed extensive 4K footage of the winding road, met a few elk along the way to properly showcase the highest road of its kind in North America.
Alpine Visitor Center: Standing tall at 11,796 feet, this is the highest visitor center in the National Park System. Discover why this is one of the most iconic stops in the park! We capture the stunning panoramic views from the top, with snowcapped peaks and wildflower-filled meadows and grazing elk. You'll feel like you're walking among the clouds!
Mount Blue Sky: On another day, we ventured down to Mount Blue Sky, home to the highest paved road in North America. This magnificent drive climbs up to 14,130 feet above sea level, making it the ultimate challenge for drivers and adventurers alike. I'll take you to the tip top.
We spent a few days inside the park and then headed out to more Colorado Mountain areas. Leadville, CO: As we journey beyond the national park, we'll do a quick drive through of the historic town of Leadville, the highest incorporated town in North America at 10,152 feet. I got a few shots of it's Victorian architecture. Then we headed Great Sand Dunes National Park and onward to Durango, the Million Dollar Highway, Silverton, Ouray and Telluride.
