On this episode, we visit the inside of the Quedlinburg Cathedral (Church of Saint Servatii), a UNESCO world heritage site. The Quedlinburg Cathedral is located in on the monastery hill overlooking the town of Quedlinburg. Quedlinburg is one of the most incredible towns in Germany. Unique with its many half-timbered buildings. It should be highly considered as a place to visit. In may ways Quedlinburg is a sleepy Rothenburg ob der Tauber, as Rothenburg ODT may have been before all the tourists arrived. The Quedlinburg Cathedral was built between 997 and 1021 and is one of the best examples of a Romanesque cathedral in central Europe. Join us as we walk around and see the inside of the Quedlinburg Cathedral.
