How to make Sooji Coconut Gujiya
Gujiyas are crisp, flaky, deep-fried dumplings with a sweet filling of coconut, semolina, and dry fruits filling. These are delicious and reminiscent to empanadas.

Ingredients Needed:
For Dough
1 cup all-purpose/plain flour (maida)
2 tbsp. ghee
Pinch of salt
4-6 tbsp. milk - as needed to make dough
Filling:
1 cup desiccated coconut
1/2 cup semolina (sooji)
½- ¾ cup brown sugar
1 tsp cardamom (ellaichi) powder
2 tbsp. raisins
2 tbsp. slivered/chopped almonds
Oil for frying
