Easy Abstract Ink Painting Idea | Overview of Inks and Liquid Watercolors

In this video I give a brief overview of what inks are (acrylic inks/ liquid watercolors etc) followed by a demonstration of a simple abstract ink painting idea. I have used one color but you could experiment with using more. This is a simple idea based on repeating circles/ oval shapes and the same principal can be applied to infinite different compositions. Inks are particularly well suited to wet in wet work. I have used liquid watercolors but you can use a different type if ink if you dont have this to hand or even just watercolor mixed with water. This is a really fun technique with many possibilities!.
