Alright, guys! Back at it here with my sesh— a long run, but a little different than how I typically do on.

My usual is a simple steady long runs usually starting at 6 minute mile pace and working down to the low 5’s.

This time was a little different, way harder, but came out with about the same average as I typically do running steady. This was 4x3 mile mile tempo right into 3 miles at 6 minute pace— back and forth on those paces for 24 total miles.

Huge emphasis today too was practicing fueling and getting down more than enough carbohydrates for the session. I’ve noticed later on in ultras it’s hard to get down a lot of fuel over 4ish hours, so by putting down 160 grams of carbs or so an hour in practice, it’s makes 120-130 grams in the race feel super manageable.
