I travel from Lombok to Bali by car and then by ferry. I'm curious if I'll be asked to provide proof of having paid my Bali tax - nobody asked.
We take a tour around today's ferry with various people wanting to sell matts or cabins, people selling coffee and noodles. It was a trouble free crossing.
I take a walk through the back lanes of Padang Bai to my guesthouse then check in meetiing adi who has worked there for a while. I give a quick room tour also.
