Info: Audio quality here is very high, even though there are three songs missing with my particular source. Rock Werchter is of course one of the big rock festivals that Queens of the Stone Age usually play, and 2002 was no different. For many people, this era of the band was their peak, the best they could be, with an incredible line-up. Dave Grohl, who had been recording both QotSA's Songs For The Deaf and Foo Fighters' One By One around the same time, had joined the band on their 2002 tour, which caused some friction between him and his own bandmates in Foo Fighters. Taylor particularly spoke in the 2011 documentary Back and Forth about being upset with Dave around this time. The band also had Nick Oliveri on bass for this show, who screams his way through some songs such as Ode To Clarissa. The third vocal talent for them would be Mark Lanegan of grunge band Screaming Trees, who would provide vocals on Song For The Dead. Overall, this era of the band is amazing, and for those who are fans of the band, it doesn't get much better than this, in my opinion at least.
