How to hoist up the hips with the hamstrings...?
Maybe that doesn't exactly describe how things work, but the hips and hamstrings are definitely in play when you hoist yourself into this INTENSE pose.
If you're not-so-bendy it's going to feel silly, but that's OK. Yoga's there to bring a refreshing level of physical ridiculousness into your life -- why take things too seriously? And if you DO get into the pose, it's a great conversation-starter for parties...
This flow's full of low-flying hops, lizard lunges, and long lubricious movements for healthy hips.
The peak pose is something of a "stretch" goal for most adults, but isn't it the challenge of a difficult destination that makes for an interesting journey...?
