In this video I show you how to make a simple but effective jig to make rings for chainmaille.
Materials
3/8 inch steel rod 3 feet
2x6 board
One piece 29 inches two pieces 4 inches (in the video I measure them at 4 7/8 inches, but that’s not important.)
6 screws
Drill
The chuck needs to be able to fit the 3/8 inch rod
Drill bit larger than 3/8 inch
Metal wire
I used 14 gauge steel electric fence wire but aluminum works great too
