1 of only 142 Sport coupes made with the W-30 performance package and a 4-speed! #s matching motor. Believed to have 31,200 actual miles. Rust free original metal. This is the almighty 442 muscle car. The post coupes were popular with the drag racers because they were typically the cheapest, lightest and the stiffest. 1970 was the peak year for Oldsmobile horsepower. The W-30 was the top dog and when ordered with a 4-speed, the cam was even hotter. Therefore, this is one of just 142 of the most potent Oldsmobiles made!

EXTERIOR: Rare "post coupe" body. Rust free original metal. It is straight and fits right. Factory ram air hood is in great shape. Special ordered paint color, it has a dash in place of the paint code on the trim tag. Nice looking older paint. Emblems are in proper locations. Bumpers are shiny, it has the cut outs in back for the exhaust. The mirrors are unique to 1970 only. Original weatherstrips are a little tattered. Correct SSll wheels.

INTERIOR: New upholstery on the seats, the cushion is still firm. Down on the floor is new carpet and the best part: a Hurst 4-speed sticking out of the hump. It has a tachometer and vintage Stewart Warner gauges under the dash. The dash area is mint, it has no vents because the post coupe has vent windows. Original door panels are in very good condition. Original seat belts are mint. Original headliner has 1 seam coming apart.

ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The original vin # matching block is included with the car. It still has original crank, rods and pistons. The 455 in the car has the original W-30 F heads. It has an aluminum intake and a set of Hooker headers. The brakes on a W-30 4-speed are manual, there wasn't enough vacuum for power brakes. It does have power steering. Original, not reproduction red W-30 inner fenders.

TRUNK COMPARTMENT: Original metal is rust free, no splices in the quarters. Under the trunk lid and the jamb has glossy paint. Working trunk light, correct stickers and gray felt mat. It also has an old Wide Oval tire on an SSll rim for a spare. It has a complete jack assembly including the lug wrench. There is even a car cover thrown in.

UNDERSIDE: Very well preserved original, maintained as needed. The ball joints are original and still tight, this helps verify low miles. It has the Rallye suspension which includes boxed rear control arms, front and rear swaybars. It has disc brakes in front, e-brake is hooked up. Deep sounding exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers and trumpet tips going through the bumper. Bottom of the motor is clean; it has a high torque starter. Original vin # matching Muncie M-21 4-speed. Original TM code rear end which is correct for a W-30. It has a 12 bolt with 3.42 posi and an aluminum W-27 cover.

This is a rare and desirable top dog muscle car. Enjoy it the way it is knowing the original block is safe and sound out of the car. Or it would be a relatively easy restoration making it concourse new. Cars like this have sold for $120-140,000.
