Peter visits Glengarry Pioneer Museum in Eastern Ontario to participate in an education weekend for students in grades 7 and 8. Although the goal of the event is to teach history, it also strives to interest young people in joining living history events and becoming involved in reenacting.
Peter's role is to discuss birch bark canoe building and the role it played in the fur trade of the 16, 17 and 18 hundreds. In addition to teaching, he also enjoys the camaraderie of the organizers and other volunteers, the camp life, the music and the campfires.
