The University of Colorado Boulder (CU Boulder, CU or Colorado) is a public university in Boulder, Colorado, United States. The University was founded in 1876 - the first among the institutions making up the University of Colorado System. The campus is located south of Pearl Street Mall and its campus is constantly ranked as one of the most beautiful college campuses in the United States.
The University of Colorado Boulder was ranked 105th among national universities and 51st among public universities in the US as well as 70th best worldwide in 2023.
Boulder is located 25 miles (40 Kms) from Denver, Colorado’s capital. It is situated at an elevation of 1,655 meters above seal level and sits at base of the foothills of the Rocky Mountains which are visible during the journey from Denver and while walking along Pearl Street.
