There are two locations in Miyazaki Prefecture we are seeking out in today's video: Totoro Bus Stop and Takachiho Gorge. The bus stop is a little out there, but if you are a Ghibli fan I totally recommend visiting. Plus, the bike rentals are free for everyone to use (w/ Electric Bikes being only 300 yen). There was so much to do around Takachiho; the temple grounds, the plaza area, and the river where you can rent boats to get close to the waterfall! Though I had a wonderful time, the rental boats were quite pricey for ONLY 30 minutes...
*My most memorable moment would have to be at the Takachiho Gorge when one of the workers saw me struggling in my rental boat, so he got into another boat, paddled over, and taught me the chops! ^^
