Welcome to the channel Walking Portugal.
The Medieval Fair of Silves is usually held in the first half of August, filling the historic centre of this Algarve town with visitors and entertainment. The landmark medieval period of the former capital of the Kingdom of the Algarve / Al-Gharb is recreated for ten days. In 2023, it was held from 10 to 20 August.
Everyone is invited to live unique adventures from the moment they enter the city and then the fairground until they return home. These memorable experiences will take them back to other times, to the city's golden age.
