Lavender Capital of North America ~ Sequim, WA ~ Downtown Driving Tour

Join us as we drive through the Lavender Capital's downtown. The population of Sequim is just under 10,000. This town has a cute downtown area, and it lies within the shadow of the Olympic Mountains. Surprisingly, Sequim averages less than 16 inches of rain per year, similiar to Los Angeles. Yet it is footsteps away from some of the wettest temperate rainforests of the contiguous United States.

The unique weather here allows for the commercial cultivation of lavender. Sequim is also known for it's Dungeness crab. 🦀
