Dairy Free Eggnog, Peppermint Hot Cocoa Mix, and Corn Free Marshmallow Fluff

Hi friends! I hope you're all having a wonderful holiday season.

This video turned into more than I intended it to be. Initially, I wanted to share my favorite dairy free eggnog with you all. But then I realized I'd be left with 9 egg whites and no plans for them. So, I decided we should make homemade marshmallow fluff. And if we're were going to have marshmallow fluff, then it only made sense to make hot cocoa mix!

So, today, we're making dairy free eggnog, corn free marshmallow fluff, and a dairy and corn free peppermint hot cocoa mix! All of these recipes are fantastic!

The eggnog is a true eggnog with eggs, not a vegan version that is thickened with coconut milk (a surprisingly hard thing to find).

The marshmallow fluff uses honey instead of corn syrup. If like me, you can't have corn, you can also use golden syrup if you have access to it. It definitely gives a more neutral flavor than the honey.

I'm going to link the golden syrup in case anyone is interested, although it's rather expensive here in the United States. When I've used golden syrup in the past I made my own because it was more economical.

The peppermint hot cocoa mix is delicious. The recipe is not inherently corn free depending on the peppermint candy you use. However, I found fantastic candy canes at Target this year that are corn free and use natural dyes as well!

This eggnog and marshmallow fluff are tried and true favorites in our house around the holidays. The hot cocoa is a new favorite that I think we'll be making for years to come! I hope you all enjoy!
