Dear Professor Oak,

You’re going to love this one — I’ve officially opened what I’m calling the Eevee Befriending Room here on Greengrass Isle. Think of it as a mix between a research lab, a bakery, and a moral gray area.

The process is simple: new Eevees come in, get cozy, and are gently introduced to a combination of Eevee Cookies and Borland Express Chow, both containing trace amounts of melatonin. Just enough to keep them calm, comfortable, and deeply loyal in their dreams. It’s basically the friendship method perfected — they nap their way into loving me.

To elevate the experience, I’ve added a steady burn of Friendship Incense that fills the room. It creates this mellow, sparkly atmosphere that encourages positive bonding while they snooze. The results? Remarkable. I walk in, and even the shy ones smile in their sleep. Science meets charm, Oak — it’s beautiful.

There is, however, one minor complication. The Eevee running the day shift — I think her name’s Juniper or Judgmental — doesn’t exactly approve of my methods. She keeps giving me this look like I’m the villain in a nature documentary. I tried explaining the research potential, the behavioral advantages, and the soft fur factor, but she’s not buying it.

Anyway, I thought you’d appreciate the innovation. I’m collecting data nightly and might send over some notes once I figure out how to measure “dream-based affection.” In the meantime, if you receive an Eevee with an unusually high friendship level and a mild dependency on bedtime snacks… congratulations.
