Recipe
साहित्य | Ingredients
• बेसन १.५ कप | Besan 1.5 Cup
• ओवा १/४ टीस्पून | Carom Seeds ¼ tsp
• हळद १/४ tsp | Turmeric ¼ tsp
• मीठ चवीनुसार | Salt to taste
• बेसनाचे मिश्रण करण्यासाठी | For Making Besan Batter
• पाणी २ कप अंदाजे | Water 2 cups approx
फोडणी साठी | Fodani
• तेल २ चमचे | Oil 2 tbsp
• जिरे १ tsp | Cumin Seeds 1tsp
• हिरवी मिरची 5-6 | Green chilies 5-6
• लसूण ७-८ | Garlic Cloves 7-8
• धने पूड १ tbsp| Coriander pw 1tbsp
• मिरची पावडर १ टीस्पून | Red Chilly pw 1tsp
• पांढरे तीळ २ ३ चमचे | Sesame Seeds 2-3 tbsp
• मीठ चवीनुसार | Salt to taste
• बा. चि. कोथिंबीर ३ कप | Finely Chopped Fresh Coriander 3 Cups
• तेल | Oil For Frying
The moment we say Wadi, we remember authentic Maharashtrian Kothimbir Vadi. It's the soul food of all Maharashtrians. The moment we start getting green vegetables during winters, this is a go ot recipe of every household once a week. Today we are going to make this recipe of ours without steaming it. In very less time, we can make this recipe by following very basic steps. Let's make it .
How to Make Kurkurit Kothimbir Vadi Recipe | How to make non fried crispr kothimbir vadi
• Wash fresh coriander , keep it onto the strainer for 15 mins to drain excess water & then chop it fine.
• Into a grinding jar take garlic, green chilies & cumin & grind.
• In a mixing bowl take besan, salt, carom seeds & turmeric. Add water gradually & whisk to get the lumps free mixture. Add water as required, to get thin flowy consistency (show in the video) , keep the mixture aside
• Heat oil in a pan, add hing, ready chilly garlic paste & saute for a min on low flame
• Then add red chilly pw, coriander pw & mix well
• Add chopped fresh coriander, pinch of salt & mix well for 2 mins
• Then to this add sesame seeds & pour the besan mixture, turn the heat to low & imix the mixture well to get lumps free mixture
• Saute until batter gets nice thickness, saute approx for 3-4 mins
• Grease a plate with oil, pout the ready mixture to the plate, set it flat using a spatula & allow it to cool down completely
• Then cut into pieces, and deep fry until get crispy
• You can store steamed kothimbir vadi into the refrigerator for a week & #fry whenever want
• You can shallow fry the kothimbir vadi too
