Family Trip to Tajpur | Abasar Resort | Weekend Destination |

Hello everyone.
We are back with a new travel video.
It is our first full family trip to Tajpur.We are a family of 18 members including both old and young generations.

It was a plan made in short notice and we had booked train tickets for us but couple of days before our trip on checking the daily running status of the train, we found that it is late everyday by about 3-4 hours for last couple of months.So we made a change to our plan and booked a traveller at the very last moment.

Tajpur is around 180 kms from Kolkata. Our traveller started from Airport around 8 in the morning and there were pickups from Keshtopur, Saltlake and PTS,Alipore.
The weather was overcast and it was raining since the last night.

We stopped at Kolaghat for our breakfast.
We ordered Luchi and chana and had a sip of hot tea.

After Kolaghat, as we progressed on our journey the weather improved and it became sunny.

Couple of years back when we visited Tajpur, the road condition was not that good for the last few kms, but this time we could see the condition has been improved.

We had booked Abasar Resort for our stay at Tajpur.Finally after 5 hours of road journey, we reached our destination.
Since it was a weekend, the entire resort was completely booked.

Since we were 18 heads, we booked 2 dormitories with 8 beds and one double bedded room.
The rooms were big with clean washrooms.
All the senior members of our group were in one room whereas we all the cousins stayed in another room.

Some of us straight went to the beach, the path was within the resort itself just couple of minutes of walk through the tall trees.
It was almost like a private beach with no one around.
The vast open empty beach was a perfect blend of relaxation and natural beauty.

After spending some good amount of time there we went to the pool at the resort.
It was quite refreshing after a long trip.

By that time lunch was served. We had rice, bhaja, dal, alu posto, katla kalia, shorshe pomfret, chatni, papad, misti doi.

After lunch some of us rested for some time, some played dumb charade and some went to have a stroll at the beach.For evening snacks, we had masala chana, veg pakoda and chicken pakoda with tea.
Then the entire group played some indoor games like housie and passing the pillow.It was quite fun and engaging and we all enjoyed a lot.

For dinner we had fried rice and chicken kasha.

Early morning we again went to the beach and spent some time bathing and jumping at the sea waves and had a splash at the pool.
For breakfast we had luchi, alu curry and sweets.

Finally it was time to say good bye.
While returning we had lunch at Kolaghat.
Finally, on the resort tariff, it was Rs. 1600 per head for fooding and lodging.And the traveller we booked was a 24-seater which costed us Rs 17000 including the driver’s stay and tolls.
