2 simple strategies to help ✅
Tight hips after sitting can make the first few steps difficult and/or painful without the right muscle support ☝🏽
Many times the front of the hip or groin muscles can become irritated due to overworking- making up for muscles like the glutes that might not be strong enough to do their job 👀
Here are two strategies that can help:
1️⃣ Activate the muscles before you stand up
2️⃣ Strengthen the backs of your legs and your glutes to help in the long term
Each of these can be helpful in preventing hip pain right before you stand up and to keep it at bay overall 🤩
These two strategies can be a great place to start. There are tons of different ways to strengthen the backs of your legs and glutes but this is one of my favorites that’s fairly easy to set up.
