Battlefield 4 Transport Chopper on Guilin Peaks

A very chill round on Guilin Peaks with the transport chopper. We were seeing if they could be used like in previous versions of Battlefield but mostly Smack was bored and wanted to fly.

It works quite well on Guilin Peaks of course since there are no predators higher on the vehicle food chain other than UCAVs. On other maps it can be more difficult to pull this kind of stuff off but with a dedicated repair guy on the side it has a greater chance of success and at the very least some amusing moments trying to make it work.

Also we found the Z-9 Haitun transport chopper is better than the UH-1Y Venom. It's flight model handles better and it is much harder to get shot out of as both the pilot and gunner. The repair guy also has a better view in the Z-9 to which they can fire rockets from. Because of the mini-gun placement and where those extra passengers sit in the UH-1Y Venom the view is obstructed more and it's much easier for them to get shot out.

Oh and the best way to keep a random repair guy in the chopper and to prevent them from getting bored is placing an ammo box on the top of the transport chopper so they can resupply their rockets.

Careful when flying the transport chopper though as we noticed during other times the softer you try to land the chopper when disabled the more likely you are to explode the second you touch the ground. You can't just have the pilot bail out to save it like in the scout choppers. Either have everyone bail and let it land on its own so you can then repair or try to keep it in the air.
