Dr. Risto Jussila presents a case of primary retrograde CTO PCI for a flush occlusion of the right coronary artery. Septal crossing was achieved through a CC0 septal, followed by successful retrograde puncture into the aorta with a Hornet 14 guidewire. The microcatheter was advanced into the aorta and the Hornet 14 was exchanged for an externalization wire that was successfully snared and externalized with an excellent final result.
