Woodturning - Figured Black Walnut Bowl from crotch stump lump #8 - a bowl for me - stunning grain

In this video, I turn a bowl for me (my enjoyment) out of a highly figured lump of the black walnut stump. This is a quarter sawn piece, sap wood to pith, and is by far my favorite of all the stump lump bowls I have turned.

Wood: Figured Black Walnut crotch stump lump #8, quarter-sawn, sap wood to pith
Dimensions:
Ø7.38” [Ø187.4mm] x 3.00” [76.2mm] tall
with a .19” [4.8mm] side wall thickness
and a .25” [6.4mm] thick bottom
Ø3.75” [Ø95.2mm] x .38” [9.6mm] wide x .38” [9.6mm] tall base
2.38” [60.4mm] deep x Ø7.00” [Ø177.8mm] internal
Sanded with 150 - 320 grit sandpaper both inside and out
Cleaned all with denatured alcohol
Sealed all with sanding sealer made with 50%-50% shellac and denatured alcohol
Finished all with ACK’S ABRASIVE SANDING PASTE (3 times) & ACK'S Polish/Restoring PASTE (2 times)
