With the recent news of the sudden closure of the Sumitomo Rubber USA plant shocking the Western New York region, I figured today would be a good day to send my drone up into the skies of Tonawanda, NY for one last flyover of the once bustling tire plant, now reduced to a mere ghost town. Also included is a video from better days, when the plant was in operation and Buffalo Southern's contract switching crew was hard at work on a beautiful June day from earlier this year!
