Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women
This is a kids special snack recipe prepared with chick pea flour and it is delicious and tempting dhokla recipe that can be made within no time and served to your guests.
INGREDIENTS:
Chick pea flour 1 cup
Semolina 1 tbs
Asafoetida 1 pinch
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Green chilly paste 1 tsp
Salt To taste
Yogurt 2 tbs
Oil 2 tbs
Lime juice 5 tbs
Baking soda ½ tsp
Baking powder 1 tsp
Oil 2 tbs
Mustard seeds 1 tsp
Green chillies 2 nos
Curry leaves 1 spring
Sugar 1 tsp
Coriander leaves(chopped) ¼ bunch
Coconut slices 10 nos
METHOD:
1. Take a bowl and add chick pea flour, semolina, asafoetida, turmeric powder, green chilly paste, salt, yogurt, oil, little water and mix thoroughly.
2. Add 3 tbs lime juice and mix thoroughly like the dosa batter.
3. Add baking soda, baking powder and mix thoroughly.
4. Immediately pour the mixture into a bread mould and place it in the steamer and steam for 10-15 mins.
5. Heat oil in the pan and add mustard seeds chopped green chillies and curry leaves, sugar, little water, salt boil it until the sugar dissolves and switch of the flame.
6. Add lime juice and pour this mixture on the steamed dhokla.
7. Transfer it into a plate and cut into pieces.
8. Now garnish with coriander leaves, coconut slice and serve it.
