Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women
This is a famous dish of Udaipur which can be had as a snack in evening time.
INGREDIENTS:
Green chillies 8-10
Chickpea flour 1 cup
Cooking soda 1 pinch
Carom seeds ¼ tsp
Salt To taste
Oil To fry
Amchur powder ¼ tsp
Sugar ½ tsp
Coriander powder ¼ tsp
Cumin powder ¼ tsp
Potato(mashed) 1 cup
Garam masala 1 pinch
Corn flour ½ tsp
Red chilly powder ½ tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
METHOD:
1. Slit green chillies and remove seeds and keep aside.
2. Take a bowl and add chickpea flour, cooking soda, carom seeds, salt, water and mix it to make smooth bajji batter.
3. Heat oil in a pan and add chickpea flour, amchur powder, sugar, coriander powder, cumin powder, little salt and saute it.
4. Transfer into a plate, add little water to make a paste and stuff in green chillies and keep aside.
5. Take a bowl and add mashed potato, garam masala, corn flour, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix the potato mixture nicely.
6. Take stuffed green chillies and coat potato mixture and dip in chickpea batter.
7. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry until golden brown in colour.
