The Edgewater Park Volunteer Fire Department consists of 100% of volunteer members responding to the community’s needs 24/7/365. Our department attends fire training in cooperation with fellow Volunteer Fire Departments belonging to the Volunteer Fireman’s Association of the City of New York. Many of our members are New York State Certified Emergency Medical Technicians.
Edgewater Park VFD is the ONLY volunteer fire department in the Bronx. The calls we respond to are for our neighbors, friends, and family members.
